Samsung Devices Download Mode, also known as Odin mode, is a mode for SAMSUNG devices only. It is a state that allows you to flash firmware through Odin or other desktop software. The mode allows Samsung users to flash stock firmware, modem, bootloader, pit files, and sometimes the root package files or custom recovery files with the help of their PC. For this purpose, users can utilize the tool named Odin3. Hence, this mode is also known as the Odin3 Mode.

To use the download mode or flash files with the help of your PC, all you need to do is boot into the download mode, connect your Samsung device to your PC, and flash the desired file using Odin3.

Note: Enable USB Debugging Mode and OEM Unlock; you’ll find these options at Settings >>> Developer options. If you didn’t see the developer options on your settings menu, then go to about >>> build number; click on the “Build Number” row about ten times regularly to activate “Developer Option” on your device.

After that, press the Home + Volume Down + Power keys altogether.

Did you have the latest flagship Samsung device? Then, most probably, you are familiar with the Bixby, right. But, did you know you can use that you can use it to boot your device into the Download or Odin mode? Well, if the answer is no, then follow the steps:

First of all, you have to shut down your Samsung device completely.
After that, press the Volume Down + Bixby + Power keys altogether.
Then, it will ask you to hold and press the Volume Up button. That’s it. Now, your device is entered into download mode.

5. Boot Samsung Device With Using ADB command

Download the latest Platform Tools (ADB and Fastboot tools) for Windows, Mac, or Linux and save it on your desktop.
Type the following command in the command window to check your device is properly connected.
adb devices
If you get a string of alphanumeric values in the cmd window, proceed with the next command.adb reboot bootloader command.

  • Download Samsung 300K Tool.zip.
  • Now unzip the file and open the extracted folder.
  • Double-click the Samsung 300K Tool.exe file to launch the program.

  • Now click the big Resistance icon on the left side of the program window.
  • The Samsung Download Mode tool will reboot your phone or tablet in the Download Mode.

7. How to use Samsung 350K Tool or Samsung Download Mode Tool- 2

  • Download Samsung 350K Tool.zip.
  • Now unzip the file and open the extracted folder.
  • Double-click the Samsung-350K Tool.exe file to launch the program.

  • Connect the USB cable, and then click upon the resist icon to forcefully switch your device into Download Mode.

Note: In case you entered the Download Mode on your Samsung device by mistake, you can exit by holding the Volume Down + Power buttons simultaneously for 7-8 seconds.
